The Avatar sequel has six more weeks before it faces serious box office contention when the latest Marvel film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is released on Feb. 17.

Maverick currently sits as the fifth top-grossing movie of all time. The Top Gun sequel pushed past 2018’s Black Panther, which now stands at No. 6 in the all-time top-grossing films chart. It also recently set a record as the most-watched film to debut on Paramount+.
