NBC weatherman Al Roker is back home after being readmitted to the hospital nearly two weeks ago.
Roker, 68, was in the hospital for a second time being treated for blood clots that went from his leg to his lungs. He was first discharged on Thanksgiving, only to be rushed back to the hospital via ambulance the next day.
The Today weather anchor took to Instagram to express his gratitude over being home.
“Home! So incredibly grateful to family, friends, medical folks, @todayshow family and all your thoughts and prayers,” Roker wrote.
Roker shared a photo of him along with his wife Deborah Roberts and daughter Leila.
Today co-host Savannah Guthrie commented: “CUTIES!! Right where you belong.”
Former Today co-host Katie Couric also responded to Roker’s post with several red heart emojis.
As a result of the hospitalizations, Roker missed this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. He is also battling prostate cancer, a diagnosis revealed in November 2020.
