Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who collapsed on the field earlier this month, tweeted that his “heart is with my guys as they compete today,” despite earlier reports that said he intended to attend the game.

It was reported Sunday afternoon that Hamlin would attend the team’s 1:00 p.m. game against the Miami Dolphins. However, Hamlin’s latest tweet indicates he changed his mind.

“My heart is with my guys as they compete today! Supporting from home as I focus on my recovery. Nothing I want more than to be out there with them! LFG #BillsMafia” he wrote before kickoff.
