Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon is facing a lawsuit to undo a nondisclosure agreement that a former employee signed after years of alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking.
In the lawsuit against McMahon, Janel Grant is seeking compensatory and punitive damages in addition to a judgment that would make the NDA she signed as a former WWE employee “void and unenforceable.” The lawsuit alleges that Grant met McMahon in 2019 while living in the same apartment building and was offered a job with WWE on the condition of a physical relationship with McMahon.
WWE employed Grant as an “administrator-coordinator” in its legal department and also as a “director” in the Talent Relations department from June 2019 until January 2022. During that time, Grant claims that she was sexually assaulted by McMahon and pressured into sex with McMahon’s acquaintances within and without WWE headquarters.

McMahon also allegedly took sexually explicit photos of Grant and showed them to others, as referenced by explicit text screenshots that Grant included in the lawsuit.
Grant alleged that her employment at WWE ultimately came to an end because McMahon’s wife Linda discovered the affair. Grant signed an NDA with the promise of a $3 million payment, of which she claims she has received $1 million.

McMahon previously settled with five other women who were also affiliated with WWE. Between four of them, millions of dollars were doled out. These settlements were agreed to between 2006 and 2023.
As a result, WWE launched an investigation into McMahon, during which he agreed to step down from his position until the investigation was finished. Instead, McMahon retired in July 2022. Grant claimed she was never interviewed as part of that investigation.
