DEI Democrats have destroyed Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream

.

Today, we honor the accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was a man who gave his life so that all people could be truly equal in this country. He fought for civil rights, but more importantly, he fought for the acceptance of the idea of judging everyone fairly and evaluating on their merit and the “content of their character” and not the “color of their skin.” It was a noble pursuit and worthwhile “dream” that warranted universal acceptance — but one that the DEI Democrats have sought to destroy.

King’s “I Have a Dream” speech forever changed the course of history. Amid the horrors of Jim Crow segregation, on the steps of a memorial honoring the president who gave his life to end slavery, King listed the grievances of racial inequality that had plagued the country. More importantly, he shared his visions of what he hoped for the future. King’s visions looked nothing like the society DEI Democrats have tried to create in the 21st century.

King was progressive and forward-thinking, whereas the DEI Democrats are regressive and live in a past fueled by injustices that shape their visions of a more divisive future. While King wanted unity, DEI Democrats yearn for division. Nearly everything King worked for, Democrats seek to unravel. Equality doesn’t interest them in the slightest. Instead, they propagandize the country about equity, pursuing a contemporary civilization forced to adhere to the cultural hegemony of left-wing, Antonio-Gramsci-inspired sociopolitical values.

Moreover, DEI Democrats have, in effect, destroyed his wishes. King wanted the nation to uphold the values of the Declaration and the Constitution. He championed the greatness of the United States despite its flaws. Conversely, the DEI Democrats of the 21st century seek the exact opposite and, instead, consider the U.S. as irredeemably racist and destructive.

Furthermore, King envisioned a world that allowed men and women of all races to live together in harmony and unity. Whereas King wanted integration, DEI Democrats desire a return to segregation. They envision a world of racial hierarchies with resentment and distrust among people of different ethnicities. King desired a fair meritocracy in America in the pursuit of equality, but DEI Democrats yearn for the political practice of societal evaluations and placement predicated mainly by race and creating a class of the perpetually aggrieved.

White people have been vilified and considered privileged for no other reason than the color of their skin. They have been branded guilty by associative skin pigmentation for all the sins of racial injustice throughout the country’s history. It’s a toxic demonization that DEI Democrats widely embrace under the guise of racial diversity and inclusion. They have become the very thing they claimed to hate: supremacists prioritizing skin color over merit.

As a result, DEI Democrats have made themselves the antithesis of King’s dream. There is no consideration for the content of anyone’s character. Ironically, in today’s world, the desire to set aside skin color and look at character (the impetus for King’s civil rights work and the core values of his iconic “Dream” speech) is positively denounced as a white supremacist strain of thinking by DEI Democrats. King would be a racist, according to DEI Democrats’ political thought.

King had a dream that all people were created equal. He embraced the core values and spirit of the Declaration of Independence. They are principles that our nation took far too long to uphold. Yet, despite this struggle, King always embraced these tenets, and his life’s goal was to make them a reality. Through all of King’s battles with bigotry, prejudice, and racism, his resolve stood firm. King never wavered and believed that people should be judged on their merits — not race.

There may not be anything sadder than the disappointing reality that King’s “dream” of yesteryear is in stark opposition to the desires and ambitions of contemporary DEI Democrats who have been elected to office.
