The hearing comes a month after Hunter Biden appeared outside the Capitol building to demand a public hearing while ignoring the committee’s subpoena for a deposition behind closed doors. The proposed resolution finding Biden to be in contempt of Congress is based on his failure to comply with the subpoena.
