Harvard professor equates Claudine Gay’s ouster to Jim Crow-era ’whites only’ signs

.

It’s no secret that the DEI Democrats that plague the nation’s political realm have been severely distraught over the resignation of former Harvard University President Claudine Gay. The people who routinely look to destroy the careers and lives of any person who opposes left-wing political orthodoxy were outraged when it happened to one of their own. And as what frequently occurs with the DEI Democrats, instead of focusing on the real reasons behind Gay’s ouster, they concocted and spread a fictitious claim that Gay was forced out of Harvard because she was a black woman.

One of the more egregious displays of this lunacy was Cornell William Brooks, who is a professor at the Harvard Kennedy School. Brooks is also the former president and CEO of the NAACP. Last week, he made the inflammatory (and baffling) assertion that Gay’s ouster (specifically, signs he saw around Harvard celebrating her departure) was equivalent to Jim Crow-era “whites only” signs. It was indicative of the magnitude of fanaticism that the Left will go to distort reality and create false narratives to influence public opinion.

“WHITES ONLY?” Brooks posted on X, the social media platform once known as Twitter. “This sign ‘It’s moving day, #ClaudineGay !’ is not only about gloating over the ouster of a ‘diversity hire.’ It’s meant to be a 2024 ‘Whites Only’ sign to make Harvard & higher education toxic for people of color and women. It. Won’t. Work. #DEI  #Diversity

In addition to being a scathing rebuke of the intelligentsia and academia, Brooks’s post is obviously asinine and not grounded in any reality. Yet it’s an example of the kind of deceit, lying, and manipulation that DEI Democrats and others on the Left constantly get away with and are never held accountable. Leftists and DEI Democrats such as Brooks hate accountability. So they make up fake racism to try to prove a point. In 2024, that will no longer work. People see through this charade. And while sycophants subscribe to Brooks’s propaganda, more people than ever before see it as nothing but performative politics and hyperbolic hysteria to try to cover up the wrongdoing of a DEI Democrat acolyte.

Moreover, as a former president of the NAACP, it is outright offensive to equate signs celebrating Gay’s ouster to the systemic racism that denied people their liberties and fundamental civil rights. It’s a reflection of the toxic fanaticism and Bolshevik-style ideological allegiance engrossed by DEI Democrats and their followers. Nevertheless, it’s time to stand against such baseless accusations and reject their inflammatory rhetoric. Show them once and for all that this culture of hatred and divisiveness espoused by DEI Democrats and others on the Left has no place in the 21st century.
