Online conservatives attacked MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell after the businessman and Trump ally cast doubt on Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) victory in Miami-Dade County for the state’s governorship.

“I don’t believe it,” Lindell said on his Frank Speech website Tuesday concerning DeSantis’s 10-plus point triumph. “So it’s just going to show everybody, just like we always tell you about Democrats where they stole their elections. … I’m going to find out [what happened in] Dade County.”

“It’s a deviation from [the] norm. It’s very much a deviation,” he added.

An archive of election results in Miami-Dade County shows that Republicans typically do not win the county.

Conservative thinkers, including bloggers, content creators, and TV personalities, voiced their displeasure over Lindell’s voter fraud questioning.

“Lindell needs to go away,” former Newsmax host John Cardillo wrote on Twitter. “He’s being interviewed by a guy he funds, on his own network, spewing lunatic conspiracy theories. DeSantis did well in FL because he did an amazing job for FL. Lindell’s BS is pathetic, and he should stop listening to grifters using him for $$$.”

Joe Cunningham, an editor at the conservative blog RedState, took it a step further and mocked Lindell, writing, “I mean, DeSantis’ victory margins are just as insane as THIS AMAZING NEW DEAL ON MYPILLOW IF YOU GO TO MYPILLOW DOT COM AND…”

Late Wednesday evening, Lindell doubled down, vowing to push forward his Florida audit despite the right-wing pushback. He told the Daily Beast his investigation could reveal voting “deviations,” which could help “get rid of these electronic voting machines.”

This is not the first time Lindell has disputed the results of an election. The MyPillow CEO has boosted former President Donald Trump’s claims of a fraudulent election in 2020. He claimed in September that the FBI seized his phone, and he was sued in February 2021 by electronic voting company Dominion for defamation. Lindell’s challenge against it was thrown out in October.
