Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) will appear at a campaign stop for his presidential campaign on Friday night with his wife Casey and Gov. Kim Reynolds (R-IA) in Des Moines, Iowa.
The trio will speak at a Mamas for DeSantis event, alongside Iowa Senate President Amy Sinclair, which comes as the Florida governor aims at winning the Iowa caucuses next month. It also comes after he gave a solid performance during the fourth Republican debate on Wednesday night.

DeSantis has been endorsed by Reynolds, who announced her decision to support DeSantis last month. DeSantis averages 19% support in Iowa, according to RealClearPolitics. Former President Donald Trump is well ahead of him at 47%, while Nikki Haley, a former U.N. ambassador, stands at 16%.
