The Republican National Convention has set a date for its convention in 2024, which will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from July 15-18.
At this convention, the RNC will select their candidate for president of the United States, according to RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
“We look forward to continuing to work with the beautiful city of Milwaukee to make this week of convention a success,” McDaniel said in a statement announcing the dates. “Republicans will unite in Milwaukee in 2024 to share our message of freedom and opportunity with the world.”

Reince Priebus, Milwaukee host committee chairman, said he “could not be more proud” of the leadership for selecting Milwaukee as its convention site.
“The venue is set, the dates are booked, and now the work of hosting the biggest political event is underway,” Priebus said. “With partners like the RNC and the City of Milwaukee, we are confident that the RNC Convention will be the gold standard for decades to come.”
