The whitewashing of Xi Jinping is grotesque

Those who wonder how the Holocaust was able to happen have received an answer after seeing how much of the world has responded to Hamas terrorists slaughtering some 1,200 Jewish civilians in Israel. They can see another example with the grotesque whitewashing of and pandering to Chinese dictator Xi Jinping.
Xi received an incredibly warm welcome in San Francisco for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, starting before he even arrived. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) flew to China to pal around with Xi (and not dare mention China’s human rights abuses) while San Francisco finally decided to clean up its homeless encampments in preparation for Xi’s visit.

He was then greeted on the tarmac in San Francisco by good buddy Newsom and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who clapped for him as he walked off the plane. President Joe Biden praised Xi because their meetings have “always been candid, straightforward, and useful,” and he managed to get his precious climate agreement that the Chinese Communist Party will almost certainly ignore. Even American CEOs attended so they could cozy up to Xi to make themselves even richer.
This is the same man responsible for carrying out a genocide of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, a massive human rights abuse that includes forced labor (which has its ties to China’s climate projects that are so prioritized by Democrats and corporations) and forced sterilization. Thousands of Uyghurs have been thrown into concentration camps under Xi’s direction, and yet he receives a glowing welcome in the United States from American CEOs, Biden officials, and civilians.
On top of that, Xi is preparing China to conquer and subjugate Taiwan after having already done the same thing to Hong Kong. He is responsible for the global COVID pandemic that killed over a million Americans after China let the virus loose (most likely from a virology lab) and lied about its severity. China floated a spy balloon over the U.S. and uses the popular app TikTok as a spyware app to pull data from millions of Americans to use for things such as surveillance.
Despite all of this, American corporations and Democratic politicians still feel the need to normalize and praise Xi. China is given a seat on the U.N. Human Right Council and the 2022 Winter Olympics, all despite the fact that Xi is a dictator leading a party that is the closest thing the world has seen to the Nazis since the end of World War II. You can’t wonder how genocides are able to happen when you are witnessing firsthand the whitewashing of a genocidal dictator like Xi.
