The March for Israel is expected to bring thousands of Israel supporters to the National Mall on Tuesday in a call to combat rising antisemitism.

The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and the Jewish Federations of North America are collaborating to host the march. The goal is to show solidarity with Israel and demand the release of hostages held by Hamas.

The march’s size is expected to meet, if not surpass, the 100,000-people mark of the 2002 pro-Israel rally and the 1987 rally in support of Jews in the Soviet Union, according to Washington Jewish Week.

Gates open at 10 a.m., with the march expected to be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
