A lifelong New England Patriots fan and longtime Tom Brady supporter has filed a lawsuit against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback in the wake of the FTX crypto scheme.

FTX commercials featuring the seven-time Super Bowl champion convinced Michael Livieratos, 56, to invest, the suit alleges, according to a report.

“As a New England Patriots fan my entire life, you can imagine the influence that Tom Brady would have,” Livieratos said.

After FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried was arrested, Livieratos wants justice for himself after losing much of his life savings, according to a report.

Livieratos has retained the services of Adam Moskowitz, an attorney who filed the lawsuit against Brady and Kevin O’Leary.

The two “promoted, assisted in, and actively participated in” FTX’s “offer and sale of unregistered securities,” according to the suit.

Livieratos invested roughly $30,000, and he lost it “literally overnight” as “FTX imploded,” the suit alleges.
