On Friday, the ladies of The View mocked former President Donald Trump’s new Donald Trump Digital Trading Card collection, which he revealed on Thursday.

“He needs money for his legal fees. Let’s do a GoFundMe for him,” Joy Behar joked to her co-hosts. The comedian also admitted to having once had dinner with Trump, as they discussed dinner being one of the opportunities offered to those who buy cards. “Once was enough,” she said.

“Isn’t it embarrassing?” Sunny Hostin asked. “This is so disgraceful and embarrassing.”

“It shows you what a horrible business person he is because NFTs are at their lowest in history. Everyone is losing money on them,” she added.

Ana Navarro told her co-hosts that “I’ll contribute to a GoFundMe … if one of Elon Musk’s spaceships takes him to space and leaves him there.”

“He has truly lost it, I think,” Behar said.

“How many do I have to buy so he goes the hell away?” Navarro asked.

Despite criticism, the cards proved popular with consumers. Nearly half a day after its launch, all 45,000 of the cards had been sold. They were sold for $99 per card and likely garnered about $4.45 million.
