Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was removed from a production of the musical Beetlejuice in Colorado for being too loud.

Over the weekend, the Colorado Republican attended a performance of the musical at the Buell Theatre but didn’t make it through the entire production.

“It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!” she said in a social media post on Tuesday. “Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”

An incident report provided to the Denver Post described two attendees who were allegedly asked to leave during the show. Apparently, they were given a warning during intermission. Behavior from the patrons amassed three complaints from others at the production.

A local outlet obtained security footage of ushers asking Boebert and a man she was sitting with to leave the theater.

The silent footage shows an usher walking Boebert through the lobby and to the front doors of the building. At several points, Boebert turns and speaks with the usher, but the video is silent and doesn’t capture what either of them said.

Boebert allegedly asked the security guard, “Do you know who I am?” and told people, “I am on the board,” and “I will be contacting the mayor,” according to the incident report.

The report included a quote from an usher. “They told me they would not leave. I told them that they need to leave the theater, and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would [be] going to get Denver Police. They said go get them,” the usher said.

Boebert’s campaign manager confirmed her being asked to leave in a statement. Boebert campaign manager Drew Sexton said, “I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: In her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice.'”
