White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is holding a press briefing Wednesday discussing President Joe Biden’s international travel later this week, despite first lady Jill Biden testing positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
The president has tested negative for the virus so far, but will be taking COVID-19 tests regularly throughout the week. Biden is expected to travel to India for the G20 summit, which will be held Sept. 9-10. He is also expected to visit Vietnam.

Jill Biden will be isolating at their Rehoboth home in Delaware, but the president was with her until Monday morning.
The president is currently expected to depart the United States for New Delhi on Thursday, and engage in a one-on-one meeting with India Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. He will then take part in the summit on Saturday and Sunday, according to the White House. He will then travel to Hanoi, Vietnam, on Sunday after the summit.
