President Joe Biden is speaking in Hawaii while on a visit to examine the devastation on the island of Maui caused by wildfires.
Biden is visiting with local officials, meeting with residents, and thanking first responders while in the Aloha State for a brief day trip after the natural disaster.

Officials in Maui said on Sunday night their time that 850 people are still reported as missing as the search-and-rescue effort continues in the fire-ravaged communities. The fire is confirmed to have killed 114 people, making it the deadliest wildfire in the U.S. in the past 100 years.
