Donald Trump Jr., the son of former President Donald Trump, teased on Monday morning that he will be traveling to Wisconsin to attend the first Republican presidential primary debate.
“We’re excited to see all of our friends in Milwaukee who want to Make America Great Again!!!” Trump Jr. posted on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

The eldest child of the 45th president of the United States plans to be a media surrogate for his father Wednesday night while in Milwaukee alongside his fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Trump confirmed on his social media platform Truth Social on Sunday that he would not participate in Wednesday’s debate, including future “debates.”
“The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had,” Trump said. “I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!”

Trump will miss the opportunity to join his GOP rivals when they gather for the first time this 2024 campaign season. As of Sunday, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND), former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson have all qualified for the debate stage.
The former president plans to do a sit-down interview with Tucker Carlson on social media.
