WATCH LIVE: Gavin Newsom holds press conference on ‘family agenda’ for education

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) will hold a press conference on education in Sacramento County, California, on Monday afternoon.

Newsom will be joined by his wife, first partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom, to “highlight California’s family agenda centered around efforts to enrich and empower kids and parents in schools,” according to the governor’s website.

The California governor is a rising star within the Democratic Party, with some speculating he could enter the 2024 race. Newsom has denied that he has any plans of entering the 2024 race.

He instead has become a key factor in President Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign. His PAC, Campaign for Democracy, has set its sights on electing Democrats in deep-red states.

Newsom’s education press conference will begin at 4:45 EDT p.m. on Monday.
