Pediatric cardiologist flees Louisiana because of so-called anti-LGBT laws

One of the only pediatric cardiologists in Louisiana is fleeing the state and is blaming a new LGBT-related law. Dr. Jake Kleinmahon, a top doctor who makes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, is a prime example of the narcissistic attitudes developed by the LGBT movement.

Louisiana has two other doctors besides Kleinmahon with his particular specialty. He has a key role at the Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans as medical director of heart transplants, heart failure, and cardiac device programs. The hospital’s heart transplant program is the only one of its kind in Louisiana.

BIDEN, FINALLY, MAKES THE RIGHT CALL ON SPACE COMMAND

Kleinmahon is moving to New York because he is worried that Louisiana’s new laws could harm himself, his male partner, and his children.

Let’s look at the actual “anti-LGBT” laws in Louisiana, shall we?

The only bill Louisiana passed this summer relating to the LGBT community is House Bill 648, which forbids sex change surgeries for minors. The other two laws, which concerned pronouns and the discussion of gender identity and sexual orientation in the classroom, were vetoed by Louisiana’s governor.

Unless one of Kleinmahon’s children is seeking sex-reassignment surgery, which he did not state in his interview, the new bill has nothing to do with his family. He has no reason to abandon his position.

His weak excuse was, “Our children come first. We cannot continue to raise them in this environment.”

What environment could he be referring to? One that protects children from undergoing medical surgeries that would destroy their healthy bodies?

Kleinmahon does not seem to understand the needs of any children, not to mention his own.

He told local news outlet WDSU 6 that he feels guilty for leaving his post: “The fact that me leaving is going to leave somewhat of a hole for medical care has been quite distressing.” Apparently, his distress is not so severe that it would encourage him to remain in his lifesaving field.

So if he is not moving for the sake of his family, what else could cause him to leave Louisiana?

It’s pretty simple: ideology. And one that is vastly irrational. Nothing else could make this man so delusional that he thinks he is making a sacrifice for his family by dropping his career and the young patients who need his help.

This is just one minor occurrence in the bizarre LGBT “exodus” this summer. Bob McCranie, a real estate agent who helps LGBT people “flee red states,” compared his business to the underground railroad in an insensitive remark to a Texas news outlet. CNN posted a sappy exclusive about a suburban Florida family who is seeking to move out of the state to access hormone treatment and transgender surgeries for their son. Portland news outlet Willamette Week did a feature on LGBT families who have moved to the city, claiming that it has become an “LGBT safe haven” (yeah right, Portland isn’t “safe” for anyone).

These people love puffing themselves up for the media. They are not undergoing persecution … they are just full of themselves.

So when a wealthy cardiologist abandons his home and the terminally ill children at his hospital for the sake of LGBT ideology, maybe we should not be so surprised. It is pretty trendy right now. And narcissists love to be trendy.
