Vice President Kamala Harris is participating in a roundtable discussion about abortion policy at Drake University.
The roundtable is scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. EDT from Des Moines, Iowa, where several Republican presidential candidates will be speaking at the Iowa GOP’s Lincoln Day Dinner tonight.

Harris made headlines last week when she went after Florida education officials for standards in its African American history curriculum, which included a line about how enslaved people may have learned skills that they could use for their benefit, despite the horrors of slavery.
