Americans for Prosperity, a conservative advocacy group, is ramping up efforts to challenge President Joe Biden’s narrative on the nation’s economy by launching a six-figure campaign against “Bidenomics.”
The influential conservative political group plans to hold over 500 events this summer as part of its “Bidenomics is Broken” movement, including rallies in states where Biden will discuss his economic visions, AFP confirmed to the Washington Examiner.

AFP will hold “Bidenomics BBQs” in those states to encourage a discussion about Biden’s economic plans. The events will engage communities as part of the group’s “Prosperity is Possible” campaign, a move to rally voters to think about the nation’s biggest economic challenges.
“The ‘Bidenomics BBQs’ will give voters the chance to share how President Biden’s policies have impacted them,” a news release states.
AFP released a nationwide digital ad on Thursday, blasting the Biden administration’s economic policies.
“The truth is Bidenomics has made life unaffordable for Americans,” the ad states. “Forty-year high inflation, higher gas prices and home energy costs, interest rates doubling, and grocery bills that are through the roof.”
The conservative grassroots group is backed by billionaire businessman Charles Koch of Koch Industries and is the latest GOP big donor to indicate it’ll support a Republican candidate other than former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential bid.

“Our country must move past the current political situation — we’ve got to turn the page on the past several years,” Americans for Prosperity CEO Emily Seidel said in a memo from February.
The influential conservative political group, which has raised over $70 million for political elections, also announced multiple Senate endorsements on Wednesday. Americans for Prosperity Action’s endorsements include Sam Brown to replace Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Sen. Pete Ricketts (R-NE) in a special election, and Dave McCormick, who has not launched a campaign against Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA).
