The drag show, held at the drag venue Darcelle XV Showplace, was created to break the Guinness World Record and to raise money for the Trevor Project, an organization supporting LGBT youth. The gender nonconforming clothing line Wildfang is a coordinator of the event.
The drag performances during the Drag-A-Thon included RuPaul’s Drag Race star LaLa Ri and Jenna Saisquoix dressed as Princess Aurora from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty while dancing to Katy Perry’s song “Teenage Dream.”
