Vice President Kamala Harris is set to speak at the Gila River Tribal Nation event in Arizona.
The White House said that she will give remarks “on the impact of initiatives from the Biden-Harris Administration that are dedicated to advancing opportunity for Tribal nations and communities.”
She will likely focus on a grant of $83 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, which authorizes a pipeline to move water from the reservation to its Pima-Maricopa Irrigation Project Facility, according to a report.

Her address is part of the Biden administration’s “Investing in America” tour. Harris is scheduled to begin speaking at 3:55 p.m. EDT.
