Turning Point USA Founder and CEO Charlie Kirk called out the protesters who screeched at him this week and the money behind them after he held an “optional” and “voluntary” event at the University of New Mexico.
“The radical left, they’re acting like the very same domestic violent extremists that the entire federal government is now organized to go after, and we’re told that’s on the American right,” Kirk said when he joined Tucker Carlson Tonight on Thursday.

“Really, go look at that footage … are those people conservatives? No. Those people are on the Left, and I wonder who is financing them.”

This is the third time this semester that Kirk planned to hold an event on the UNM campus, he said. “The other two had to be canceled or ended abruptly because of these people,” Kirk added. “So, I went there on a personal mission.”

The only way to lose is not showing up, according to Kirk. “We are going to stand for free speech, and you are not going to be able to disrupt our events or bully our students with force,” he said.
Kirk’s event went on to be a success, he said, and at least three leftist protesters were taken into custody.
