NASAs Orion spacecraft captured breathtaking images of the moon eclipsing Earth as the spacecraft goes around the moon.

NASA OFFICIAL PREDICTS HUMANS WILL LIVE ON THE MOON ‘THIS DECADE’

The Artemis I mission is unmanned but does have a test mannequin named Moonikin Campos, which is collecting data on the mission.

The stunning sight was captured on the Artemis I livestream the space agency launched to see where the spacecraft is on its voyage around the moon.

Moonikin Campos and the Orion spacecraft are expected to land in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, California, on the morning of Dec. 11.

The Orion spacecraft was launched to the moon as part of the Artemis I mission and will be used to launch humans around the moon during the Artemis II mission and will land humans on the moon as part of Artemis III.

As the Artemis I mission is underway, NASA officials are expressing optimism that humans will be living on the moon within this decade.
