EXCLUSIVE – President Donald Trump will be back in Ohio next Wednesday, less than a week before the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
Trump is scheduled to appear in Chillicothe, Ohio, the Republican National Committee told the Washington Examiner on Wednesday.
Trump’s visit comes as Sen. Jon Husted (R-OH) is in a tight race with Ohio Democratic Senate nominee Sherrod Brown. Republican gubernatorial nominee Vivek Ramaswamy is in a similarly close race with his Democratic opponent, Amy Acton.
Trump won Ohio in 2024 by 11 percentage points. He won the state by 8 points in both 2016 and 2020.
Vice President JD Vance traveled to Cincinnati on Wednesday for a rally in his home state after an earlier press conference for the White House‘s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud at the Cincinnati FBI Field Office.
Trump was in Ohio for an Oct. 12 rally in Youngstown, and he was on the border of the Buckeye State last weekend for a rally in Highland Heights, Kentucky.

Vance, who comes from Middletown, was also in Lima earlier this month.
“Trump is coming back to make his case as best he can that he has lowered inflation compared to Joe Biden, and [say] ‘There’s still work to do, but we’re making progress,’” Republican strategist Matt Dole told the Washington Examiner.
