Joe Concha trashes Michelle Obama’s podcast discussing men getting pregnant

.

Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha blasted former first lady Michelle Obama’s podcast, IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, after a segment discussing hypothetical scenarios of men getting pregnant.

“Remember the Bush 43 years when we tortured terrorists we captured by waterboarding them? I say we step it up a notch in 2026 by forcing all those in custody to listen to Michelle Obama’s podcast,” Concha said on Fox News’s Saturday in America. “They’ll be singing like a canary or Mariah Carey after three minutes.”

Obama brought actress Sharon Stone on her podcast, and she discussed how society would operate if it were men who got pregnant.

“If men got pregnant, you could get an abortion from a vending machine,” Stone said during the podcast.

Concha ripped Stone for claiming abortion was not readily accessible, saying Stone has had one of her own.

“Let me get this straight: Sharon Stone had an abortion while she was in high school — I don’t know if you knew that — she has since had no children of her own, and now Michelle Obama and Sharon Stone are complaining about abortion access today,” Concha said.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court in 2022, the number of abortions has increased, Concha said.

“Now, that’s not a good thing, but in the end, this exchange isn’t funny, it’s not even remotely accurate, but that’s what you’d expect from two people who were actually relevant a very long time ago,” Concha said.

During the episode, Obama added that there would be a “birth Olympics” if men got pregnant, where men would record giving birth, “honoring their pain,” and be handed trophies. Concha said there was no way he would participate in this hypothetical scenario of recording himself going into labor.

“But I’m a dude, I don’t have to think about these things,” Concha said. “Men can’t get pregnant. I guess the memo got out.”
