Facts can’t convert the Gaza ‘genocide’ faithful

The Gaza “genocide” lie is a demented article of faith within the red-green (leftist-Islamist) alliance, but it has also permeated much of Western society through a sustained, widespread, algorithm-warping, multiyear propaganda campaign that has inverted victim and aggressor. The seeds for this false narrative were planted within days of the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre, with prominent anti-Israel voices immediately decrying a “genocide” that was supposedly already being waged by the victims of that attack, who were still counting their dead at the time. It has become a sick, often inorganic obsession that has infected much of academia, various political movements, international organizations, and numerous cultural spaces. All manner of appalling behavior and naked bigotry have been dressed up and justified under the banner of opposing a “genocide” that does not exist and has never existed.

As countervailing facts and reality checks roll in, this substantive evidence is often ignored entirely by the “genocide” shouters, who rely on assertion, emotion, and dishonesty to maintain their deafening but utterly false narrative. These facts matter nevertheless. Here are a few of them. This is simply not what a genocide looks like. At all:

“The population of Gaza increased since the war began and a comparatively tiny proportion of non-combatants died.” That’s a tragedy, which is what happens in wars. In this case, the war was horrifyingly initiated by the jihadi mafia that controls Gaza, which also deliberately operates its terrorism out of neighborhoods, schools, hospitals, and mosques. The relative dearth of civilian deaths under these circumstances in the resulting conflict — which is a product of painstaking Israeli efforts such as evacuation warnings — is a testament to Israel’s explicitly opposite-of-genocidal prosecution of a war that was started by its actually genocidal enemies. Thousands of military, legal, and historical experts agree on this:

Remember the “famine” “crisis” that was repeated far and wide throughout the media? It was bogus — and to the extent that food insecurity did exist inside Gaza, that was a direct result of Hamas’s brutal and cynical choices to victimize its own people. Consider this information:

Also recall the oft-repeated claim that Israel was “targeting journalists” inside Gaza, with the implication or accusation being that the Jewish state was deliberately murdering reporters in order to cover up its crimes against humanity, or whatever. A great many of the “journalists” in question were actually terrorists, as belatedly admitted by the terrorists themselves:
