President Donald Trump is hosting Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House for a state visit.
Trump and the first lady are scheduled to greet Xi and Chinese first lady, Peng Liyuan, at 10 a.m.
The two heads of state will deliver remarks at the White House’s Grand Foyer at 10:15 a.m., and after an opening ceremony, hold a bilateral meeting beginning at 11 a.m.
Trump met Xi at Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday, an unusual move, and though the visit coincides with the United Nations General Assembly, the Chinese leader will not be speaking at the event.
