Trump-affiliated ‘No Going Back PAC’ makes first ad buy in NY-03 bashing Suozzi over stock trading

.

The President Donald Trump-affiliated “No Going Back PAC” is diving into New York’s 3rd Congressional District with its first advertisement, hitting Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY) over his stock trading.

“Tom Suozzi voted against banning congressional insider trading because he’s made over ten million dollars trading stocks in Washington,” the advertisement claims.

The Trump-affiliated PAC ad backs Suozzi’s Republican challenger, state Rep. Mike LiPetri, who is endorsed by Trump.

“Tom Suozzi serves himself, Mike LePetri will serve New York, by banning politicians from insider trading and holding Congress accountable. Taking on Washington, serving us,” The “No Going Back PAC” ad says.

The ad cites past reports from Business Insider and Yahoo Finance alleging Suozzi did not disclose his stock trades in a timely manner and was one of ten representatives who made more on their investments than Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) did in 2025. Business Insider reported Suozzi’s office previously said the congressman does not manage his own stock portfolio.

The Washington Examiner has reached out to Suozzi’s office for comment.

Trump’s No Going Back PAC investment in New York’s 3rd District is significant, as Suozzi’s district is listed lean-Democrat by election forecasters, but Cook Political Report writes in its assessment that the district could become a toss-up if Republicans invest enough in LiPetri’s campaign.

Suozzi, who is running for his fifth full term in the House, defeated LiPetri in the 2024 House election by a 3.6-point margin. He serves as the co-chair of the House Problem Solvers caucus and often touts his centrist Democrat lean.

No Going Back PAC has spent over $95 million in advertising for the midterm elections, according to The New York Times and AdImpact.

LiPetri celebrated his campaign’s message, boosted by the No Going Back PAC, in a statement to the Washington Examiner.

“Our campaign is about restoring common sense – the failed policies of Kathy Hochul, Tom Suozzi, and Zohran Mamdani does not work for Long Island and northeast Queens, and now people are recognizing that it’s time for a next-generation congressman who will give the forgotten New Yorker a fighting chance,” LiPetri said.
