Democrats admit they are the real threat to democracy

.

The American Left talks a big game about “protecting our democracy,” and it’s all horse hockey. The Democrat Party’s network of corruption continues to involve itself in shady practices that would make a banana republic strongman blush.

This past week saw evidence emerge concerning two major scandals involving Democrats’ get-out-the-vote and fundraising efforts. In Texas, a Democrat operative for Texas Majority PAC — an outside group backing Beto O’Rourke’s somehow more bizarre iteration, James Talarico — was recorded on camera talking about their scheme to target low-propensity voters. For the effort of sitting through the group’s Zoom class about how awful Republicans are and how you can vote against them, anyone can earn $25.

The operative admits, “You can’t pay someone to vote for someone,” but that this is “a roundabout way of paying people for their votes.” Rally by Relentless, the affiliate group that actually conducted these calls, which it dubs “paid relational programs,” says it produced over 47,000 Democrat votes in key swing states in the 2024 elections. Not only does the group admit what it is doing is wrong, but these groups have been hard at work to drive numbers up this cycle.

At the same time, House Republicans released new evidence as they probed ActBlue, the major fundraising platform that raised $3.8 billion in small-dollar contributions for Democrat candidates in the 2024 cycle. There’s been ample evidence for years that ActBlue employed questionable fundraising practices, including a lack of proper fraud controls, identity-misuse patterns, and a willingness to turn a blind eye toward foreign contributions.

House Republicans’ latest report includes internal communications between employees that demonstrate ActBlue’s willingness to ignore verification protocols and accept foreign donations. Employees essentially approved contributions first, regardless of where they were from, and used paper-thin justifications to claim why everything was above board. This was even the case when multiple red flags were raised by the employees themselves: foreign IP addresses, lack of evidence that the donor even lived at the listed address, and retaliation from higher-ups to rubber-stamp approvals. In fact, we know that ActBlue flagged at least 22 significant fraud campaigns, many from foreign sources, in a single 30-day window in the fall of 2024. Could this be why, since the 2024 election, the entirety of ActBlue’s legal and compliance teams have left, and each of the 10 employees called to testify before Congress has pleaded the Fifth? It doesn’t take much to connect the dots.

Meanwhile, Democrat candidates who harp on about “threats to democracy” have happily accepted funding from ActBlue in the past decade. Isn’t clear evidence of foreign funding in American elections a direct threat to our constitutional republic? Should foreign funding, particularly from accounts linked to adversarial nations such as China, have the potential to determine American elections? Clearly, Democrats think so.

BIDEN SANCTIONED THE MAN WHO OWNS GEORGIA. THEN HE MADE SURE THE CHECKS STILL CLEARED

Similarly, does paying for votes constitute a free and fair election? Texas Majority PAC operatives admit on camera this is a dubious practice, yet they still do it. Have they considered whether or not they themselves represent the very “threat to democracy” they speak of?

Recall that “defending our democracy” was the major message Democrats led with in 2024. U.S. voters rejected it because they saw through the nonsense that Democrats, the Squad, and their surrogates on MS Now and Pod Save America were trying to sell them. Not only is their argument that one must vote for one party, and one party only, to “save our democracy” self-defeating at face value, but now we have ample evidence that the Democratic Party is in fact far from its namesake. The people deserve Members of Congress who will stop at nothing to hold these folks responsible — I’ve thrown my hat in the ring to lead the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee in the next Congress for this very reason. American elections are for eligible U.S. citizens to decide, not foreign donors or pay-per-ballot schemes. If we fail to maintain oversight over how our elections are conducted, we lose the country.
