Attorney General Todd Blanche is holding a press conference at the Department of Justice on Tuesday afternoon to speak about the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks this week.
TRUMP HONORS 9/11 FIRST RESPONDERS WITH NEW COAST GUARD CUTTER AND PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM
The event comes after Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, was ordered by a military judge to stand trial in June 2028. The DOJ is holding Mohammed primarily responsible for the deaths of nearly 3,000 people on that day.
Blanche’s press conference is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
