The White House has not detailed what Trump will announce, but the event comes as the Trump administration focuses its policies on lowering healthcare costs for the public. Prescription drug prices dropped 0.8% in July and were down 3.1% from the previous year, the steepest annual decline in more than six decades. The decline has coincided with the administration’s “most favored nation” agreements and the February launch of TrumpRx.
