Vice President JD Vance is traveling to Michigan on Monday to stump for Republican candidates in the state.
Vance will speak at a campaign event in Sterling Heights, a suburb north of Detroit, starting at 1 p.m.

The vice president is expected to be joined by Senate candidate Mike Rogers, gubernatorial candidate John James, and Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI), among others, at the event.
Vance has been hitting the campaign trail in recent weeks as the midterm elections approach.
