President Donald Trump and Education Secretary Linda McMahon are holding an event for education advocates on Monday afternoon in the White House Rose Garden as students head back to school this fall.
Trump and McMahon are expected to highlight the administration’s efforts on strengthening school choice, one aspect of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed last July.
The Rose Garden event was first reported by the Daily Signal. Outgoing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the news by sharing the article on social media.
The event is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
