A 15-year-old was arrested in connection with a mass shooting in Seattle on Sunday that killed two people and injured four.
The 15-year-old is just one of two suspects. The two are believed to have opened fire on each other and shot several bystanders in the crossfire. Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson said the teenager was being held in juvenile detention for firearms violations and first-degree assault. Police are searching for a second suspect and still don’t have a description of them.
“We’re still trying to figure this out,” Seattle Assistant Police Chief Tyrone Davis said at a Sunday news conference.
The suspect who was arrested surrendered at the scene, while the other fled.
The shooting occurred at around 6 p.m. at the three-day Bite of Seattle food festival. Videos showing the beginning of the shooting showed that the area was crowded when gunshots first began.

The gunfire was in close proximity to Seattle’s iconic Space Needle.
The three people killed were described as a 56-year-old woman and two men, ages 14 and 44. Of the wounded, one was a 2-year-old boy who was hospitalized but was in satisfactory condition on Monday.
