President Donald Trump’s name has been officially removed from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a photo obtained by the Washington Examiner shows.

The activist organization Hands Off the Arts took the photos on Monday. They show the center’s executive director, Matt Floca, has complied with an order from a federal judge to remove the president’s name from the building.
Crews began removing the lettering on June 13 after U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper, an Obama appointee, ruled the center could be named only for the late John F. Kennedy as a living memorial.

A white tarp had been draped over the name, leaving passersby wondering whether Trump’s name had actually been taken down, but photos from Hands Off the Arts reveal the Trump administration has complied.
