The White House said on Tuesday that it’s making the grass on the South Lawn “stronger than ever before” with ScottsMiracle-Gro after UFC Freedom 250.
The White House made the announcement on X, saying the National Park Service will work to restore the lawn after Sunday’s historic fight.
The post said ScottsMiracle-Gro is contributing $1 million to help repair the grass.
The White House said the company “created [a] proprietary grass blend for White House’s unique lawn requirements.”

Sunday’s historic UFC match took place on President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and Flag Day.
The outdoor venue held 4,300 people, and another 85,000 spectators watched the fight from large screens set up on the Ellipse, an open area near the White House often used for large gatherings.
