Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha praised Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt for his campaign and passion to help his city.
“Spencer Pratt is probably going to advance to the general election,” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox & Friends First on Tuesday. “His campaign isn’t about red versus blue or conservative versus liberal, it’s about common sense versus chaos.”
Pratt is running against current city Mayor Karen Bass and city council member Nithya Raman to become the next Los Angeles mayor.
Pratt has called out Bass over her handling of drug addiction in the city.
“It’s not a good city when there are more needles in the parks than children,” Concha said.
Pratt has also criticized Bass for her handling of the city’s homeless population, with Concha adding, “There are tent cities in Los Angeles that warrant their own zip code at this point.”
Pratt’s campaign for mayor has grown immensely over the past few weeks, capturing the attention of President Donald Trump, who said, “I’d like to see him do well.”
Turning Point CEO Erika Kirk also commented on Pratt’s campaign, calling him “authentically American.”

“There’s a reason why there’s a mass exodus out of Los Angeles,” Concha said. “It’s just not a good city for people to live in right now. People want change — Spencer Pratt may be the answer.”
The California primary election, which includes the Los Angeles mayoral election, will be held on June 2.
