The United Nations is continuing to demand that President Donald Trump hand over American taxpayer dollars, even as the organization is infested with terrorists and terrorist supporters. Trump should treat the U.N. with the contempt it deserves.
The United States Agency for International Development Office of Inspector General identified “four additional current or former staff” from the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees who participated in the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks against Israel. According to the watchdog, the three teachers and one social worker are “alleged to have participated in the holding of civilian hostages kidnapped from Israel and/or the terrorist activities in Israel on October 7, 2023.”
RUBIO SLAMS UN INACTION OVER IRAN MINING STRAIT OF HORMUZ
UNRWA, which is dedicated to perpetuating the Palestinian “refugee” crisis, has been known for decades to be employing Palestinian terrorists, which the organization itself admitted back in 2004. At best, UNRWA is entirely incompetent: The organization claimed it didn’t know that it was employing a Hamas commander until after Hamas publicly announced he was killed in an Israeli strike. At worst, it is deliberate, as UNRWA schools have long been a haven of antisemitism and extremism. The fact that UNRWA teachers took part in terrorist attacks against Israel is the least surprising thing about the agency.
Meanwhile, U.N. Director-General Antonio Guterres feels entitled to American taxpayer dollars. Guterres went from begging for the money earlier this year, warning of a possible “financial collapse” if the United States didn’t have over some $4 billion in dues, to demanding that money, saying that those billions are “non-negotiable” Guterres and the U.N. feel entitled to the money of hardworking American taxpayers, because previous administrations have continuously rolled over for the corrupt organization and its bloated bureaucracy.
SCAMMING THE WEST: WHAT’S REALLY BEHIND THE UN’S AHISTORICAL TRANSATLANTIC SLAVERY RESOLUTION
Trump has tried to tie American dues to U.N. reforms, but the fact remains that the U.N. cannot be reformed. It is corrupt to its core, empowering dictators, authoritarian third-world regimes, and terrorists. If the U.N. cannot accomplish such a basic task as ensuring that it does not employ literal terrorists, why should American taxpayers be forced to fund it to the tune of $4 billion?
If that means the U.N. has a financial collapse, then so be it. The global bureaucracy is a complete and total failure, and everything about it runs counter to American values and American interests. The U.N. constantly spits on the U.S. and then demands its money to funnel through terrorist-enabling agencies like UNRWA. It deserves its pending “financial collapse.”
