President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump are attending a Wednesday event that honors mothers with children serving in the military.
The presidential couple is set to speak at the gathering, which will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the East Room of the White House.

Donald and Melania Trump will later host a reception for the Trust for the National Mall in the Rose Garden at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 10, this year.
