Hasan Piker is an antisemite, a terrorist supporter, and a communist millionaire. He supports violence, up to and including the murder of his political opponents. And Democrats are in love with him.
Piker, who makes a living as a Twitch streamer, was brought on by the New York Times for an interview about why stealing from businesses is good and justified. Inevitably, the defense of lawlessness by Piker (and the New York Times) turned to the murder of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson. Piker declared that Thompson was guilty of “social murder,” and that his murder was therefore understandable and possibly even justified.

This is to be expected of Piker, an execrable human being who is as unintelligent as he is immoral. But the more notable part is that the New York Times treated his ghoulish worldview as interesting and even right. New York Times opinion culture editor Nadja Spiegelman, who was conducting the interview, went on to entertain the idea that murdering Thompson in cold blood could “actually” be “effective political action.” Spiegelman spent the entire interview helping Piker and another liberal disparage the idea of the rule of law even existing.
Everywhere you look, the Piker-ization of the Democratic Party and its liberal media apparatus is visible. Piker is a communist hypocrite who lives in a nearly $3 million mansion in West Hollywood. He supports terrorism, from defending Hamas to saying that America deserved the 9/11 terrorist attacks. And yet, Democrats are so starved for young male supporters and so obsessed with internet culture (at the expense of understanding how people live in real life) that they embrace him, which is why Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) has likened Piker to Joe Rogan.

Piker’s chosen candidate in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, is surging. El-Sayed has defended the motivations of an Islamic terrorist who tried to slaughter Jewish preschoolers in Michigan and thinks that condemning such an attack is a political “risk” given his voter base. Piker is currently on a glowing media tour throughout liberal media because the liberals at those outlets want the Democratic Party to embrace him, and every despicable opinion he fires off about how terrorism and murder can be justified if he doesn’t like the target.
Piker is the future of the Democratic Party, because Democrats think his brain-dead communism appeals to young voters, and because they don’t mind his attempts to mainstream political violence. Piker, immoral and moronic as he may be, is not the cause of the Democratic Party’s progressive decay. He is the natural endpoint, as liberals sacrifice any semblance of moral responsibility in favor of their power-at-all-costs worldview, where everyone who opposes them can be accused of such vague crimes as “social murder.”
