Trump’s ‘Low IQ’ rant triggers MAGA meltdown

.

President Donald Trump’s critique and disapproval of conservative commentators is sparking backlash, as commentators Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones are slamming the president for calling them “Low IQ.”

Trump posted on Truth Social on Thursday,
saying, “I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years,” Trump said. He continued, “Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs.”

The post has triggered criticism of the president. Jones, the founder of InfoWars, responded Friday on X with a clip from his podcast, saying, “I’ve gone through hell backing your a** because you were the lesser of two evils, then I’m going to show you how the cow ate the cabbage.”

He also noted that he wants to focus on the midterm elections and promote things that Trump is doing well, but to be left alone.

“You should be kissing my ass, but instead you s*** all over me, and you rub it in,” he said. “I’m not looking for a fight, but if you want one, you came to the right place.”

Jones seemingly egged on Trump in the clip, repeatedly saying, “Say one more thing.”

Carlson responded with a post on the Tucker Carlson Network on X, saying, “Calling all nut jobs, troublemakers, and third-rate podcasters! New merch just dropped,” and linked a new line of apparel boasting “Low IQ” logos.

Carlson also said he feels “sorry” for Trump, “as I do for all slaves,” in an interview with the BBC.

“It may be time to put Grandpa up in a home,” Owens posted on X.

Owens also took to YouTube on Friday and titled her episode An Open Letter To President Donald Trump (My Response). “Low IQ? Really? Tucker Carlson, low IQ? Me, low IQ? The three of us unsuccessful somehow?” she said.

Journalist Megyn Kelly hasn’t directly responded to Trump’s statement as of Sunday afternoon. She expressed great criticism over the president’s recent statements on Iran on Wednesday, saying, “I am sick of this s***,” and asked if he could “just behave like a normal human?”

TRUMP GIVES CLICK-DESPERATE ‘NUTJOBS’ EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT

Trump’s offense against these podcast hosts has split some former officials from the president. One former senior Trump White House official said the president’s strategy is “just basically attack,” and taking this route “instead of trying to win them over.”

Another former official suggested that Trump’s attacks on the podcast crowd have more to do with public perceptions of the war rather than the actual criticism from the media personalities themselves
