A man was arrested outside of a Dallas election night event for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton‘s Senate campaign on Tuesday evening.
Dallas police took the suspect into custody after pulling him over at a traffic stop. Police found ammunition, bullets, and firearms in the car without any license plates, according to multiple reports. The suspect was wearing a hat, gloves, a camouflage face mask, and sunglasses and was detained several minutes after briefly stepping into the hotel asking to use the restroom, according to the New York Times.

The man had been lingering around the hotel just before 6 p.m. when the event was set to open to attendees, according to the outlet.
