You have been brainwashed by the news media, we all have. News outlets regularly tell their audience what to think, rather than what to know, and if you’re not careful, you’ll find your opinions being programmed by an external source instead of your own common sense.
Take the term “progressive,” for example. While innocuous at first glance, it’s used to shield readers from the truth that those labeled as such are typically radical far-left socialists whose opinions are not even shared by the majority of Democrats. It’s a virtuous-sounding label. Who wouldn’t want to be called progressive? Progress is a good thing, right? We should make progress on solving the country’s problems, but the policies proposed by those labeled progressives only exacerbate those problems and create new ones.
Abortion until birth? Progressive. Unlimited third-world immigration without vetting those coming in? Progressive. Race-based hiring or admission? Progressive. Literal socialism? Progressive. Defund the police? Progressive. Men in women’s sports? Progressive. Carbon tax? Progressive.
JESSE JACKSON WAS NOT CONTROVERSIAL, OR LIBERAL, ACCORDING TO THE OBITUARIES
None of these destructive policies are popular among the general population, nor are they overwhelmingly popular among Democrats. Yet the media often uses watered-down, flowery labels to frame so-called “progressive causes” as virtuous and more appealing. “Abortion rights,” “racial justice,” “transgender rights,” “climate justice,” — all code for radical Left extremism.
The news media often contrasts progressives with the deplorable “far right,” which programs you into thinking the conservatives and moderates labeled as such are fascists when many align closer to the 2008 Obama-Biden platform but have been left behind by the radical “progressive” Democratic Party. When moderate liberals such as Elon Musk and Joe Rogan can be labeled as far right, the phrase loses all meaning.
Perhaps the most egregiously dishonest label the media uses is “pro-Palestinian,” to describe Hamas-supporting anti-Israel extremists. The only way to be pro-Palestinian, to support the Arabs in the region, is to stand against Hamas.
The terrorist organization was literally founded on the principle that Jews must be exterminated, and on Oct. 7, 2023, the group slaughtered over 1,000 Israeli men, women, and children — raping, torturing, and kidnapping innocent people in support of the same ideology Osama Bin Laden used to justify 9/11. Hamas used hospitals, schools, and civilian areas to launch rockets and store weapons. Hamas refused to allow Gazans to leave the region after Israel warned of its attacks. Hamas stole the humanitarian aid that was supposed to be given to Gazans in need and sold it on the black market to fund their terrorist ambitions. Hamas is to blame for every single life lost in the Gaza war, including civilian casualties.
But when Israel is attacked, the so-called pro-Palestinian crowd celebrates. And when Israel responds, they shout “hands off Hamas,” “hands off Hezbollah,” “hands off the Houthis.” Antisemitic signs, chants, and violence are commonplace at pro-Hamas rallies and encampments, where they shout the genocidal slogan, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” The group subjugating the people of Gaza is Hamas, the group responsible for the bloodshed in the region is Hamas, and yet the Western left-wing activists who support Hamas are labeled “pro-Palestinian.”
These activists, largely college students and TikTok addicts, act as mouthpieces for Hamas, and push the lie of Israeli “genocide” despite the fact that Israel’s civilian-to-combatant ratio in its war against Hamas was nothing short of historic for urban warfare, and the population of Gaza has been growing — not collapsing. This lie has gotten Jews killed across the world, and those espousing it are responsible. Israel has taken extreme measures to prevent unnecessary casualties, but you’ll never hear about it from these “progressives” who the media treats like Martin Luther King Jr rather than the radical terrorist sympathizers that they are. Let’s just be honest, they’re not pro-Palestinian or else they would stand against Hamas. They are, at best, anti-Israel activists.
MEDIA PERSONALITIES WHO LOST THEIR JOBS OVER NEWS BIAS IN 2025
“Transgender (wo)man” is another dishonest label the media uses to push a radical ideology that for all of human history common sense would tell you is ridiculous until just recently — namely, you are what you identify as. A so-called “transgender woman” is a man suffering from a mental disorder causing him to believe he is a woman. It is a delusion, not a valid identity, regardless of how it is treated by the media.
The suicide rates of people suffering from gender dysphoria (pre- and post-operation) are only comparable to those suffering from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Trans people need help, but are having their delusions affirmed in such a way that psychiatrists would never recommend for those experiencing other disorders. If someone believes they are a lion, that doesn’t make them a lion. Modern psychiatry understands this concept until it comes to one’s “gender identity.”
In a gross misrepresentation of the facts and an attempt to present the matter in a more favorable light, the media refers to trans operations as “gender-affirming care.” If someone identifies as blind, paralyzed, or one-legged, we don’t maim them to “affirm” their identity. We treat them as psychiatric patients. But genital mutilation gets a nice virtuous-sounding name, “gender-affirming care,” just as radical socialists get to be “progressives” and Hamas supporters get to be “pro-Palestinian” in the liberal media lexicon.
And finally, what would you call someone who opposes illegal immigration but is in support of responsible, well-vetted immigration? If you’re the dishonest news media, the answer is “anti-immigrant.” Immigrants are a critical voting bloc, and knowing this, journalists label conservatives with said straw-man position, setting the narrative that the Left is pro-immigrant and the Right hates their immigrant neighbors. Based on that framing alone, if you’re an immigrant, you’d be crazy not to vote for the Left.
Thankfully, many legal immigrants see those skipping the line and rightfully call it out. I suppose they’re anti-immigrant too?
You can be assured, when the media refers to an “immigrant rights organization” or activist, that they’re referring to someone who protects illegal immigrants (including those convicted of heinous crimes) from deportation, standing in the way of law enforcement. But because the general public is against illegal immigration, the media frames the actions of these organizations in a more virtuous-sounding light. Who could be against immigrant rights?
DON’T CRY FOR THE WASHINGTON POST, IT HELPED DESTROY MEDIA
Some offenders are worse than others, but most (if not all) news outlets claiming to be objective bastions of truth engage in some level of media mind control. They wonder why people are trusting influencers for their information over the fourth estate, or how people such as Laura Loomer manage to out-scoop “reputable” reporters.
It’s because legacy media has done nothing to earn or keep the audience’s trust, and people are waking up to their brainwashing tactics. Mainstream news outlets will continue to lose legitimacy until these practices end.
