THE TWO KEVINS: WHY TRUMP MAY HAVE PICKED WARSH FOR FED CHAIRMAN OVER HASSETT
The hearing will mark Bessent’s first appearance on Capitol Hill since the Trump administration announced its replacement for Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, who recently became caught in a federal investigation involving his handling of the central bank’s costly renovations.
He will appear next before the Senate Banking Committee on Thursday at the same time.
