Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr is testifying in front of the Senate on Wednesday for the first time since a national controversy around talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
His testimony is set to begin at 10 a.m.
He will be joined by commissioners Olivia Trusty and Anna Gomez, though he will likely face the brunt of the questioning.

Carr has been hit with bipartisan criticism for his handling of the Kimmel controversy in September, when the talk show host was briefly taken off the air following inflammatory comments he made about the recently murdered Charlie Kirk.
He is also set to discuss a proposed merger between Netflix and Warner Bros Discovery.
