Reality TV star Abbey Romeo of Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum revealed her affinity for President Thomas Jefferson while visiting the District of Columbia on Sunday.
Romeo shared a video montage of her travels across Washington. While visiting the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, she shared her thoughts on the 2024 election.
“This is the Jefferson Memorial, and I voted for him in this last election,” Romeo said while posing in front of the late president’s statue.
Romeo was cast in Love on the Spectrum, the dating show for adults with autism, when the show started its U.S. series in 2022. Since being cast, she met her boyfriend, David Isaacman, and the pair have been a show favorite, returning in the most recent third season released earlier this year.
At another point in the video, Romeo happens upon a protest on the National Mall.
“Looks like they’re having a festival,” Romeo said of the protesters.
“Over there is the White House,” Romeo says later in the video, pointing to the president’s residence on Pennsylvania Avenue. “And if I lived there, I would have real lions running around the backyard.”
