At least three people were wounded early Wednesday morning in a shooting at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas, according to local reports.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem confirmed there were “multiple injuries and fatalities” and that the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The motive remains unclear.

“While we don’t know [the] motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop,” Noem said. “Please pray for the victims and their families.”

The shooting occurred around 7 a.m. at an ICE office near an interstate highway.

Dallas police are searching for a possible sniper or multiple shooters on top of buildings in the vicinity, a Dallas-area ABC affiliate reported. The victims are in critical condition.
